Recently others have been recommending using tea tree oil over Twitter so I jumped on trying it out. I was really skeptical since this sort of acne is a pain in the butt to treat. You're not supposed to use this on broken skin so that would make me stop scarring mine.
I'm using Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil! It's great for acne, dandruff, lice and any other skin issues. It's 100% pure. No parabens, presrvatives, chemicals, etc. It actually works on ingrown hairs so no more poking with tweezers.
This small cluster has stuck around for 2 years.
I get cystic/under the skin type of acne. I tried treatments, oils and home remedies but I still had the same bumps for years. The only thing that helped me was the BC pill. I haven't been on it for years though so I wasn't surprised it came back.
I went to get my package out of our mailbox and something smelled very terrible. The oil was THAT strong. It took me 2 weeks to get "used" to the smell and it's still pretty gross. It also comes with a 100 page guide for other uses and recipes. There was something about making your own toothpaste.. I don't know if I'll put that in my mouth though haha
This was about a week of use. I noticed an improvement within 3 days. Bumps were slightly smaller and weren't raised anymore. I was JUST about all cleared up too when I think I had a hormonal breakout.
I continued to use it for a few more weeks and the results are awesome.
It's been a long time since it's been this clear. Just dealing with some scarring now. No raised or underneath the skin ANYTHING. It's pretty shocking that out of all the things I've done, this is the only thing that worked so well and this fast.
I was just about to order Proactiv too since that was the only thing that worked. At least I'll be saving money and have no dryness from treatments. I only used a tiny amount of the oil so this bottle will last a long time. I diluted mine with some olive oil as a test and continued use undiluted since I had no reactions from it. If you have cystic acne, this is definitely worth a try!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
